We made steady progress this past week with the site. We've had to haul several truckloads of G7 dirt onto the site in order to combat the "sponge" effect that some of the ground is producing. It is a time consuming task but necessary to ensure that the foundation will be laid properly when the time comes.
It's exciting to see how the community of George is rallying around building the kitchen. We have business owners offering to donate construction supplies - what a blessing! It goes to show you that many residents of George want to make a difference and desire to see everyone work together to combat poverty, homelessness and starvation.
Here's the latest photo of the site! Until next time, we appreciate your continued prayers for the work taking place here in George.
