Vilma has been with OTB for more than seven years serving as the Tijuana kitchen manager. Originally from Guatemala, Vilma knew that if the time ever came, she would count it a joy to return home to begin Outside the Bowl Guatemala. That opportunity has arrived! With numerous prospects in Guatemala City, Vilma is assessing the opportunity to start OTB Guatemala. Vilma and her family returned to Guatemala in September. She is currently meeting with potential ministry partners and identifying locations for a Super Kitchen.

Thembi grew up in the townships of South Africa. With hard work and diligence, she graduated high school but had little hope for her future. That was until she met Mr. Mark Maingard. Thembi's story is an example of how OTB is changing communities through economic development and job creation.

Mark Maingard and Marais Greyling are Outside the Bowl's Country Directors in South Africa. Their hearts and vision for feeding, training, and discipling people in their country are apparent in all that they do. Watch to learn more about one of OTB's newest initiatives, Vita Kidz Porridge.

Outside the Bowl is honored to partner with Kibaale Community Centre in Uganda! An entire shipping container of Vita Kidz Porridge is headed to this rural community where the school children will receive 70% of their daily nutritional needs in one meal!
